What is Black River Manor?
We are a Non-Profit entity operating in South Haven, Michigan. Our focus is on bringing families and the local community together to enjoy outdoor adventure and activities. We prefer that you Leave Your Devices and their Vices Behind and experience nature and family fun at our property.
Do you offer camping?
We do not offer camping to the general public, but our family and friends are always welcome to come to enjoy our property for overnight experiences.
Do you have RV spots?
We do have RV spots but we are not a licensed campground so they are for friends and family to use. We also participate in the Harvest Hosts program where guests get one night stay for free. Please see https://harvesthosts.com/ for more details.
Do you provide day-use activities?
We welcome you to our property to participate in various day-use activities, including hiking, fishing (with the State's compulsory license), beach volleyball, ping pong, frisbee, blueberry picking, badminton, and more. We have a required donation of $10 per person for day-use visitors.
What are the hours of operation?

What is your pet policy?
We love animals of all sizes and shapes; however, we allow dogs only because of the variety of wildlife we have on our property. Please keep dogs on a 12' or less leash when visiting.
How accessible are the roads leading to BRM?
We are very accessible by car, no 4WD is necessary. In fact, we are located just 7 minutes away from downtown South Haven, MI. There are paved roads leading all the way to our entrance at 91 70th Street, South Haven, MI 49090.
How can I donate to Black River Manor?
We appreciate all donations, and we put the money to good use supporting low-income youth to participate in activities on our property. We also sponsor events throughout the year and are constructing natural educational resources throughout the property.
